My Speech

 Children Should Watch TV

Have your Mum and Dad ever told you not to watch T.V? But you don’t agree with them and you still want to watch it. Well I can help you. I have got three reasons to tell you why children should watch T.V.

My first reason is that children can get smarter by watching T.V.  If people watch T.V they can learn the alphabets, maths and reading skills. And there are good science programmes too. So children can learn lot’s of things by watching those programmes.

My second reason is children can have fun watching T.V.  If you like movies, cartoons,funny show and sport channels you can have fun by watching all these channels. So if it’s a boring day you can still have fun by watching T.V.

My last reason is that people can watch what’s happening in the world from the News. People can get information and learn about what is happening in the city and other countries around the world.

In conclusion if you like watching T.V you should watch good and appropriate programmes. So you can learn something and have fun. Then your parents may let you watch T.V without telling you off.  Good Luck!                         

Reflection:           

I am learning to write a speech.

I am so proud of making my speech longer than last years.

It can be tricky to make your speech more than 2 minutes long.My brother or sister can help me by helping me find more interesting words.The next step for me in my learning might be to make another speech about a different subject.
